LUNCH BUNCH 

meets on the first Wednesday of each month at 11:30am and is open to all that would like to get together for food and fellowship.  Order off the menu; pay your own way.  The next Lunch Bunch will meet on Wednesday, APRIL 1st at 11:30am at PRIME STEAKHOUSE.

PALM SUNDAY BRUNCH 

Sunday, March 29 serving from 10:30-11:15am. Serving egg bake, muffins, orange slices, coffee and milk.  Suggested donation of $10 for adults, $5 for kids with proceeds going to the Music Scholarship Fund.

 

COLLABORATION VOTE 

A congregational vote will take place on Sunday, April 12 (at First) and Sunday, April 19 (at Federated) to decided on the collaboration between First and Federated.  You must be a voting member to participate in this vote. Absentee ballots are available by contacting the church office.  Voting closes on April 24.

GOD'S GLOBAAL BARNYARD AND WORLD HUNGER 

"Until All Are Fed" challenge will close on Sunday, April 12.  Be sure to pick up a collection box in the narthex.  All loose change, cash, and checks will be part of the Sunday school's noisy offering challenge. Funds will be used to purchase animal gifts through God's Global Barnyard to help families escape the cycle of hunger and poverty.

SENIORS ON THE MOVE 

join us on Thursday, April 30 when we travel to Alexandria to volunteer at "Sharing Love and Hope" missionary program.  We will volunteer for about 2 hours and then treat ourselves to coffee before heading back to Morris. Sign up sheets will be available at both churches after Easter.

SNACKS NEEDED! 

Morris area churches have volunteered to provide these much needed snacks for all students in the elementary with 100-120 boxes needed!  Please donate by Sunday, March 29!  Please make sure crackers/snacks are not expired as they cannot be used.  Some suggested snacks:  Ritz or Club crackers, saltines, graham crackers, plain animal crackers (not frosted), Cheez-It, Goldfish, pretzels, granola bars, fruit/applesauce cups (please provide spoons). Not recommended: cookies, fruit roll-ups, candy/candy bars, sugary cereals, perishable foods

 

STEVENS COUNTY FOOD SHELF DRIVE 

Deadline to donated is Sunday, March 29!  Food shelf items, along with monetary donations, will be taken. Items such as shelf-stable foods, personal hygiene items, or household items can be dropped off in the church’s lower Narthex. Monetary donations can be given directly to the church office.

FAMILY BINGO 

Mark your calendars for Sunday, May 10!  We will once again be celebrating the end of the Sunday school year and honor our high school graduates with a Family Bingo event!  Bingo prizes for all ages!  This event is sponsored by First's WELCA group with funding from Thrivent.  Donations of bingo prizes, along with monetary donations are appreciated. Please contact Sharon Ehlers if you would like to make a donation. 

 

​PASTORAL VISITS  If you or someone you know is hospitalized, in a nursing home, or home-bound and would like a pastoral visit or Holy Communion, please contact church office at 320.589.3242. Hospital and nursing home staff can not contact the church without permission.
